Agility affects the distance of your dodge, the i-frames don’t change. In Nioh 1, it also affected Ki regen, but I heard that it’s based on %age now, not agility tier. level 2, Aye damage bonus agility on range weps is the way to go, but make sure it’s on the one ur using, so let’s say ur range 1 is bow and have bonus agility , range 2 is cannon and doesn’t have. On missions u use cannons to shoot, make sure to swap back to bow for the agility A bonus.
